This book teaches you a few chords and then 2 pages later introduces a song containing chords that are not taught in the book – stupid!!!! I wasn’t impressed at all.

I liked the book when it finally arrived. It took over 30 days to get the item. I would never buy a used item or like new item again. Thermite media does not purchase USPD tracking on the entire order. I could track my item for the first part of the shipment and then the final portion did not have a tracking number. The customer service responds quickly with an automated e-mail message.
The two dollars you save is not worth all the aggravation associated with the purchase. I wish I knew that it would take longer to receive this item and that you can’t return the item.

Great book, focused on the nuts and bolts of the Acoustic. For me, much better than the normal Method books.

Hal Leonard has some great books on learning to play guitar but this is not one of them.

i tried this book out as my first lesson book. i agree with most that you should check out true beginner books before this one. i feel that it is a very good book, just for the advanced beginner. go with the hal leonard guitar method course first and then use this as a supplement. best of luck
