101 Fingerlicking Good Fingerstyle Guitar Accompaniment Patterns

This is an interesting book, but not of high quality. I found it
to be marginally useful at best. I am an experienced guitarist,
and I would not buy this book again. Best Regards all the same.

This valuable book features 101 interesting rhythm pattern ideas for acoustic fingerpickers.
The idea is to learn a pattern and then apply it to your own creative situation (songs, phrases, chord progressions, original materials, arrangements). It’s a lot of fun working this way. The book is a real imagination stretcher for guitarists who like to play with creative acoustic rhythm ideas. I am having a ball applying the patterns to songs.
The notes and comments are extremely helpful. Every pattern is recorded note-for-note on a high quality CD. Very highly recommended.

I have purchased a number of fingerstyle guitar books with accompaniment patterns, but I have to say out of all the fingerstyle books I have, “101 Fingerlicking Good Fingerstyle Guitar Accompaniment Patterns” is my favorite. I have bought a few music books that left me with a disappointed feeling, but with this book I have found musical satisfaction. The finger picking patterns are surreally, suitable for the type of songs I sing. I give this book a thumb up!

This is a neat little book of short finger pickin’ licks that can be plugged into anybody’s playing when an intro, vamp or accompaniment pattern is needed. Great for getting ideas on how to approach that song that needs a little something extra but you can’t quite put your finger(s) on it.
Great for beginners or old pros.

I’m not an expert, by any stretch of the imagination. I do sing and play guitar on solo specials in church and any fills you can add to a single guitar and voice help round out your music. There were several that fit into the style I play and I received quite a few comments and compliments. Worth the cost of the book if ready to sit down and practice a little bit.
